Funds can now be withdrawn from the vigorstaking contract without forfeiting any claims to an eventual VIG 2.0 initial distribution, or to the Yield+ rewards that were accumulated previously. Market conditions remain weak, and we cannot provide a time estimate on if or when VIG 2.0 will be released. Hi everyone, We have reconsidered our decision, and we have decided to continue working on Vigor 2.0. As such, we have re-enabled staking on the platform (available at https://staking.vigor.ai). However, after careful deliberation and as per the original announcement, VIG-only stakers will not receive an allocation of VIG 2.0 when the new protocol launches. In order to qualify for an allocation of VIG 2.0 and of Yield+ rewards, users must stake BOTH VIG tokens and any combination of EOS, USDT and VIGOR, in a proportion of 1000 VIG for every $1 worth of EOS, USDT and VIGOR. We understand that this may be disappointing to those who are holding VIG and who have no additional assets to stake. Unfortunately, as many have pointed out, in its current state, Vigor has already failed, and all residual equity has been wiped out. Any restructuring effort will require both capital and work, and we do not think it is fair to dilute those willing to take 100% of the risk and to provide these critical elements for the benefit of those who don't want to or can't contribute to the effort. We are very sympathetic to those who have invested time and energy into Vigor and who have lost, and we will do our best to provide them with opportunities to earn a stake in Vigor 2.0 through non-financial contribution. Vigor 1.0 will remain in function, and we will support it to the best of our abilities.
